Sometimes, the most impressive dishes end up being the easiest to prepare. This couldn’t be more true with our green beans almondine recipe. A classic French side dish that boasts both elegance and delicious flavors, it works for a busy weeknight or dinner party. And we love how it comes together in 25 minutes. Our secret that makes this recipe so good? Adding a splash of white balsamic vinegar for zingy pop of flavor. And don’t forget a spicy red pepper and shallot sauté to pour on top. We also have a trick for perfectly blanching green beans!
Try toasting the almonds yourself in this green beans almondine recipe! Heat a skillet with a bit of olive oil or bake them in the oven. Whichever method you choose, keep the heat low so the nuts don’t burn. You’ll notice when they finish as they’ll give off a nutty smell and become golden brown. Let us know if you tried this below!
