Popcorn is the perfect movie accompaniment. You can load it up with butter and salt, go for a sweeter variety with kettle corn, or even cover it in cheese. However, have you ever thought about adding marshmallows and candy for an extra fun snack? We did! Our Firecracker Popcorn Recipe really only requires three ingredients, plus your candy of choice.
Popcorn Balls are such a nostalgic treat and all you have to do is melt butter with marshmallows and combine it with your popcorn. So easy! We chose red hots, sprinkles and red licorice to bring out that firecracker element, but you can feel free to pick any red, white or blue confection of your choice. These can get sticky to roll out, so we recommend coating your hands in cooking spray. This will not only leave you less covered in the marshmallow mixture, but it’s also easier to roll the popcorn into balls.
