Pork Chops With Fruity Avocado Salsa Recipe Ready in 15 Minutes for Busy Nights

This Pork Chops With Fruity Avocado Salsa recipe will become your new 5-ingredient weeknight favorite! Bone-in pork chops get a flavorful boost thanks to a spice-infused oil, which gives the taste of a long marinade despite the quick prep time. Once cooked, the pork chops are topped with a toss-together tropical salsa before serving. The result is a sweet yet spiced main that’s perfect to enjoy with sweet potato wedges or fluffy rice.

Our recipe uses a prepared mango-peach salsa for a sweet and fruity flavor. But, you can substitute regular tomato salsa if you prefer a more savory and zesty taste. These pork chops are just as tasty cooked on the grill as it allows the meat to caramelize on the outside and develop a smoky flavor. Additionally, if you’re not a fan of pork, swap in bone-in chicken breasts or your favorite cut of steak — and cook it to the recommended level of doneness.   • 1 ripe avocado, pitted, peeled, and diced
  • 1/2 c. prepared mango-peach salsa
  • 1 tbsp. Mexican seasoning blend
  • 2 tsp. olive oil
  • 4 (1⁄2"-thick) bone-in pork chops, at room temp.


• In bowl, combine avocado and salsa; set aside. In microwave-safe bowl, combine Mexican seasoning and olive oil. Cover and microwave 10 sec. or until heated.

• Place skillet coated with olive oil cooking spray over medium-high heat. Coat pork chops evenly with oil mixture. Cook chops 6 min. or until done, turning once. Transfer chops to serving platter. Top with avocado salsa. Serve with warm tortillas and lime wedges, if desired.
