  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 5 cups (1”) cubes seedless watermelon
  • 1 1/2 cups strawberries, trimmed, quartered
  • 1 Tbs. lime juice
  • 1 tsp. grated lime zest



Line 9” pan with foil. In pot, mix sugar and 1/4 cup water; bring to a boil. Cook until sugar dissolves, about 1 min.; let cool. 

In food processor, puree watermelon, strawberries, lime juice, lime zest and simple syrup. Transfer to pan. Freeze until firm, about 4 hrs. Lift from pan. Cut into 1” chunks. Puree. Return to pan; freeze until firm, about 2 hrs.
