  • ⅓ cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 4 lbs. chicken pieces
  • 3 cups cornflakes, crushed
  • 1 tsp. dried oregano
  • Lemon wedges and fresh parsley sprigs (optional)

In large bowl, combine buttermilk, garlic powder, ¼ tsp. salt and ¼ tsp. pepper. Add chicken; toss until coated. Cover; chill 2 hrs. or overnight. Transfer chicken back to bowl; discard marinade.

In separate bowl, mix cornflakes, flour, oregano, ¼ tsp. salt and ¼ tsp. pepper. Working with one piece at a time, coat chicken with mixture.

Place crisper plate in basket of 7-qt. air fryer; coat with cooking spray. Place basket in air fryer; heat to 325°F. In 2 batches, place chicken in basket; coat with cooking spray. Place basket in air fryer. Air-fry until golden brown and chicken is no longer pink near bone, 25-30 min. per batch. Remove. If desired, serve with lemon wedges and top with parsley.
