Whether it’s for a holiday feast or a Sunday supper, this delicious and popular side dish truly makes the meal. And it’s a snap to pull together. Our green bean casserole starts with canned green beans and condensed soup for the utmost convenience. Then, add just two more ingredients to finish it off: shredded cheddar cheese for melty creamy goodness, and crispy fried onions for a crunchy topping. It’s so simple! And it only takes 10 minutes to assemble, freeing up your time to move on to other things. If you’re in charge of bringing a dish to a dinner party or potluck, this one is the way to go. We guarantee it will get rave reviews.

Green bean casserole is endlessly adaptable, too. Want to change up the cheesy flavor profile next time around? For a parmesan-gouda version of the casserole, just swap in a ¼ cup grated Parmesan and ¾ cup shredded Gouda in place of the cheddar cheese.
