Cheese-Stuffed Snap Peas

Ingredients

1 (5.2 oz.) pkg. shallot-chive cheese spread, such as Boursin, at room temp.
1 Tbs. milk
1 tsp. chopped fresh thyme
1 lb. sugar snap peas, trimmed, strings removed
Lemon zest curls and peas (optional)

Instructions

  1. In bowl, combine cheese spread, milk and thyme. If desired, spoon mixture into pastry bag fitted with plain round tip (such as Wilton #10).
  2. Using knife, make incision along top seam of each snap pea to make a pocket. Pipe or spoon cheese mixture into pods. Cover and chill until ready to serve. If desired, garnish with lemon curls and peas.
