What could be more of a treat than biting into a warm, fresh-from-the-oven biscuit? With cheese added in for ooey-gooey goodness, this cheese biscuits with chive butter recipe is simply sublime. And it takes just 20 minutes to prep, so you can whip up these biscuits on weeknight and get them into the oven fast. Yet they’re also special enough that you’ll also want to serve them at any gathering.
The secret: They start with Bisquick baking mix, saving you time and money. These easy biscuits are versatile, too: We use Cheddar cheese in our recipe, but you can swap in any kind of cheese you like. Just make sure the cheese is cold when incorporating it into the dry biscuit mixture. It will help produce those flaky biscuit layers. And if you have any biscuits left over, they are delicious when you reheat them the next day! Give them a try and leave us a comment below.
