When the weather gets warm, there’s no better way to cool off than with a refreshing, invigorating sip. At the First For Women test kitchen, we wanted to create a beverage that would be both tasty enough for sipping while socializing and healthy enough to drink in the morning like a smoothie to start your day strong. The result? Our easy cantaloupe coolada recipe! To make it, simply toss frozen chunks of cantaloupe into the blender along with coconut milk, agave nectar and lime juice, then puree until silky smooth. Give it a try and then leave us a comment below.
We love incorporating cantaloupe into our dishes and drinks because of the many benefits it offers. For starters, it’s extremely hydrating and great for skin and hair growth. Cantaloupe also helps reduce blood pressure and improves digestion. And finally, the fruit’s high levels of phytonutrients help boost immunity, fight off diseases and even prevent cancer.
