Our Coffee-Glazed Cinnamon Rolls Recipe Is an Easy-Prep Fluffy Treat That Wows

Nothing beats the aroma of sweet and fragrant cinnamon rolls wafting your kitchen. This recipe for Coffee-Glazed Cinnamon Rolls doesn’t disappoint as it contains those same sugary flavors with a caffeine twist. But first, sheets of crescent dough are filled with a cinnamon-sugar mixture before they’re sliced into rolls. After chilling in the fridge overnight, they’re baked until golden brown and then drizzled with a coffee-infused glaze. The end result is a batch of sweet and nutty buns that bake to yummy perfection in as little as 22 minutes.

While this recipe is scrumptious as is, simple tweaks can make it even tastier! Try adding orange zest to the filling mixture for a subtle citrus zing.   • ⅔ cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 2 (8 oz.) tubes
  • refrigerated crescent roll dough sheet
  • ⅔ cup + 2 Tbs. chopped walnuts
  • ½ cup dried currants
  • ½ tsp. instant coffee powder
  • ½ cup confectioners’ sugar



Grease 9" round cake pan. Mix brown sugar and cinnamon. Unroll each dough sheet. Dividing evenly, sprinkle both with sugar mixture, 2⁄3 cup walnuts and currants; lightly press in. Starting from one short side, roll up each sheet separately jelly-roll style. Cut each crosswise into 6 rounds; place in pan cut sides up. Cover; chill overnight.

Heat oven to 350°F. Uncover pan. Bake until golden and baked through, 22–25 min. Cool slightly. Dissolve coffee powder in 2 tsp. hot water; stir in confectioners’ sugar. Drizzle over rolls; top with remaining walnuts.
