Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 cup butter, frozen, cut into cubes
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh chives

Instructions

• Heat oven to 400°F. In food processor, pulse flour, baking powder and 1/2 tsp. salt until just combined.

• Add butter; pulse. Gradually add in buttermilk and pulse until dough forms; transfer to floured surface. Knead in shredded cheddar and chives. Roll to 3/4” thickness; cut with 21/2” biscuit cutter. Place biscuits 1” apart on greased baking sheet. Bake until golden brown, 12–15 min.
