When you’ve got cellulite, bacne or a droopy tush, baring your backside with confidence may seem like an oxymoron. But it doesn’t have to be with these expert-approved solutions:
A Bacne-Clearing Serum
For blemish-free in three weeks, apply a drop of a retinol-infused spot treatment once a day. The powerful vitamin A–derivative known for its wrinkle-smoothing abilities also unclogs pores to nix acne, plus prevents the scarring it leaves behind. Tip: Opt for one that has hydrating squalene (like The Ordinary 100% Plant-Derived Squalane, $13.85, Amazon) to keep skin from drying out.
A Butt-Lifting Exercise
Tylicki’s favorite tush-boosting move? Donkey kicks. “The move engages the hamstrings and gluteus maximus, defining the area where the butt and thighs meet for a perky and toned-looking tush.”
To Do: While on all fours, bend back one knee, lifting the foot up so your leg forms a 90-degree angle. Lower it back down. Do 15 reps before switching sides; repeat 3 sets on each side three times a week for results in 30 days.
A Cellulite-Nixing Tool
The latest innovation in dimple-reducing involves “massaging” cellulite with suction cups. “This technique boosts circulation
so the body flushes out the trapped toxins and excess fluids that make cellulite appear more prominent,” says medical aesthetician Holly Cutler.
Even better? The repeated lifting motions of the cupping strengthen connective tissues to smooth skin, so it looks less dimply. Simply use a cupping set (like Lure Essentials Anti Cellulite Cupping Set, $26.97, Amazon) three times a week for
results in four weeks.
