WATCH: Keith Urban and Carrie Underwood Steal the Show at the Grammys

When Keith Urban and Carrie Underwood walked onstage at the 2017 Grammys to perform, the audience must have instantly known they were in for a real treat.

But the enchanted crowd could never have expected the talented duo to pull out all the stops like they did.

Urban and Underwood graced the Grammys with a re-creation of their collaboration “The Fighter,” and it was the re-creation fans didn’t even know they needed. But to say their loyal followers were grateful for the spectacular show was truly an understatement.

Viewers went totally wild when the country crooners made their beautiful voices heard among a fabulous illuminated cube and a dazzling display of lights. And why not? At the end of the day, there’s nothing more fantastic than a combination of gorgeous vocals and stunning visuals. And these songbirds made absolutely sure that they would be bringing both of these key elements to the table. We’re so happy they did!

And as if the show weren’t exciting enough, Urban and Underwood were both nominated for Grammys this year. Urban was up for Best Country Solo Performance for his song “Blue Ain’t Your Color” and Best Country Album for his album Ripcord, and Underwood was up for Best Country Solo Performance for her song “Church Bells.”

Though neither artist ended up taking those trophies home at the end of the night, it’s safe to say they were both big winners in performance.
