Normally when kids play, it involves paint-splattered floors and felt-tip scribbles on your expensive table and living room walls, which looks like a toy box has exploded. Sometimes, we actually have to vacuum every 15 minutes, just to see the carpet. The geniuses at Groupon have introduced massage crayons, called the "De-Stress Doodles" — which means the only thing that might look a mess will be a very relaxed and eased you.
Groupon launched the special edition crayons July of last year in the United Kingdom. The company then invited its users to win the collection through a special prize drawing. According to the Huffington Post, the company announced the drawing with this video. While many Groupon patrons took the children's artsy-relaxation treat mashup for a joke at first, a lucky few were gifted the dual function, limited-edition treat.
Each crayon is formulated with special spa-like ingredients, including shea butter and jojoba oil. Additionally, each color comes with its own additional benefits. The red crayon is infused with hydrating rosehip oil, green contains nourishing avocado oil, and the blue crayon contains luxurious marula oil. According to Groupon, the crayon's pigment washes off easily with mild soap and water.
These crayons allow your children to draw a masterpiece on you while you get a special massage. What a win-win! All they have to do is create wonderful pieces of art, but they may feel disheartened you can't pop their picture on the fridge.
As of right now, the "De-Stress Doodlers" are currently unavailable both in the United Kingdom and United States, as they were only available through a special drawing in the United Kingdom. But that doesn't mean we're giving up hope! It may eventually make its way across the pond!
