Holiday season is quickly approaching, which means you’ll be spending a lot of time, and money, on various holiday food items, Christmas trees, and presents. Lots and lots of presents, especially if there’s grandkids involved.
But, don’t fret just yet. Thanks to a new app called Moolah, shoppers can easily receive refunds for items that drop in price. It’s kind of like Wal-Mart’s Price Match Policy, except you don’t have to go anywhere lugging around a binder full of coupons and discount codes — just shop, sit back, and let the app work its magic.
How does it work?
To ensure your safety, Moolah reads your shopping receipts using email webhooks that are identical to the webhooks Facebook uses. So, what does that mean, exactly?
Basically, Moolah is an application that searches through its database for receipts based on the email you sign up with. Once you’ve made a purchase, Moolah will match your receipt against the store’s current price to see if your items dropped in price. Whenever a price drop occurs, Moolah automatically refunds the difference.
Why pay more when you don't have to? With Moolah you'll be able to find the perfect gifts at an affordable price, and who knows, you might have enough left over to treat yourself.
