Sure, Valentine's Day isn't for another week and a half, but Prince Harry and his girlfriend, American actress Meghan Markle, are enjoying a little romance anyway. The couple was spotted out in London on Wednesday, Feb 1, during a sweet date night that would make his mom, Princess Diana proud of the gentleman her son grew up to be.
The couple had dinner at the Soho House before taking a stroll on a crowded London sidewalk, reports People. What's more, the couple was spotted holding hands!
Aww, young love. There's nothing like it, is there?
“They tried to keep as low-key as possible and were sitting in a small snug area of the restaurant,” someone who spotted them told The Sun, which obtained the photos. “But it wasn’t a private area and they were happy to be seen. They only had eyes for each other.”
The couple's relationship seems like it's going well. After all, Prince Harry has already gotten to know an important person in Meghan's life: her father. Meghan’s brother, Thomas Jr., revealed in January that Harry met with their dad, Thomas, about six months earlier in Toronto, well before the couple's relationship became public knowledge.
“My dad knew about [the relationship] from the start,” he told reporters.
And Harry's royal brood is also getting to know Meghan. Last month, sister-in-law Kate Middleton traveled from her Norfolk home down to London to meet with Markle at the Kensington Palace apartment Kate shares with Prince William and their family. Along for the journey was sweet little Princess Charlotte (though sadly, Prince George stayed behind for school).
And we hear the two ladies got on well. Future sisters-in-law, perhaps? Only time will tell!
Markle has met Prince Charles and Prince William, as well, and Harry's grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, has given her approval of the relationship. We're so glad!
