Kelly Clarkson surprised fans by debuting a completely different hairstyle on April 27 at the UCLA Jonsson Cancer Center Foundation’s 23rd annual "Taste for a Cure" event, and her fans are absolutely loving the singer's new look. The "Love So Soft" songstress rocked a black cut-out dress and showed off her bright blonde locks and bangs in a top knot while on the red carpet. Later on in the night, The Voice coach performed a few of her hits, as well as her new single, "I Don't Think About You."
"You look stunning. I love the bangs," one fan gushed of her makeover, with another writing, "This is a great look for you." But it wasn't just her 'do that contributed to her stylish moment, as fans also praised her slimmed-down body after Clarkson's impressive 40-pound weight loss. "Please tell me the secret of your weight loss. You look amazing and gorgeous," one fan wrote, with another asking, "Kelly, you look amazing! What is your exercise plan?!"
A source previously told Life & Style that in January, Clarkson started "working out with a trainer four times a week" and totally revamped her diet. "Kelly has cut back on junk food," the source shared. "She's been living on a high-protein diet and has swapped sugary treats for raw vegetables."

The American Idol alum has been open about her lifelong weight struggles, and she revealed that she suffered from bulimia when she was a teen. Luckily, Clarkson was able to overcome the eating disorder, and nowadays, she's only concerned with her own health and happiness. "If you gauge your life on what other people think, you’re going to be in a constant state of panic trying to please everyone," she said in an interview with Redbook. "People should just concentrate on their own lives and their own health and their own happiness, and whatever that looks like for you, be happy with it."
