This Affordable Oil is Kate Middleton’s Go-To for Flawless Skin

Kate Middleton is one of the world’s most-photographed women, and she always seems to look flawless on camera. We just assume she uses only the crème de la crème of skincare products, so we were pleasantly surprised to discover that the reported star of her daily routine, rosehip oil, is totally affordable.

In an interview with Us Weekly, a source close to the duchess said: “Kate continues to use rosehip oil in her daily skincare regimen. She loves the effect is has on her skin. [Her mother] Carole [Middleton] is also a fan.” The source revealed that Kate especially enjoys Trilogy’s Rosehip Oil ($22.97, Amazon).

Known to fight wrinkles and fine lines, rosehip oil is often used by people who want to avoid possibly harmful retinoids in their anti-aging products. Kate reportedly used this oil through all her pregnancies, so it’s seems to be a safe natural alternative that she trusts.

Extracted from the seeds of rosehip, research shows that its impressive amount of antioxidants are what makes it such a great protection against inflammation and oxidative skin stress. And, as you can probably guess, the future queen isn’t the only fan of this product.

One Amazon user commented, “My skin has seriously never looked better. It took only a week or two to see a difference. I stopped using more expensive serums and moisturizers because this is basically all I need.” Meanwhile, another raved, “I fell in love right away. I use this every single night after cleansing and toning. My skin is so soft and glowing!”

The best part? Rosehip oil is incredibly easy to use. After you wash and dry your face, add two to three drops to the palm of your hand and apply it with your fingers while massaging outwards on your face. Follow with your favorite moisturizer and that’s it — time to get ready for your royal close-up!
