We’re Melting Over the First Photos of the Newest Royal Baby
Kate Middleton and Prince William stepped out with their newborn son for the first time, shortly after they welcomed him on April 23 — and the first photos of their third royal baby are so adorable!

In the new pictures, their bundle of joy is sweetly cuddling in Kate’s arms while wrapped in his cozy white knit blanket. The new pictures very much resemble the ones the royal couple took when they welcomed Prince George and Princess Charlotte!

Kensington Palace previously announced the birth of royal baby No. 3 with a statement that read, “Her Royal Highness, The Duchess of Cambridge, was safely delivered of a son at 11:01 hrs. The baby weighs 8 lbs 7oz. The Duke of Cambridge was present for the birth. Her Royal Highness and her child are both doing well. The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, The Prince of Wales, The Duchess of Cornwall, Prince Harry, and members of both families have been informed and are delighted with the news.” The baby’s name has not been released at this time.

Kate and William revealed they were expecting again in September. “Their Royal Highnesses, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Cambridge is expecting their third child. The Queen and members of both families are delighted with the news,” a statement released by Kensington Palace read last fall.
Kate and William shared a statement on Twitter to thank those at the Lindo Wing for all their care the past day. “Their Royal Highnesses would like to thank all staff at the hospital for the care and treatment they have received. They would also like to thank everyone for their warm wishes,” the statement read. Here’s hoping we get to see more new photos of this little guy — perhaps at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle‘s upcoming wedding?
