John Stamos Fans Are Going Crazy After His Wardrobe Malfunction

Tags:

Fans were blushing after Fuller House star John Stamos‘s embarrassing wardrobe mishap, which gave a whole new meaning to the band name Jesse and the Rippers.

Stamos was performing with The Beach Boys when his dancing got just a bit too enthusiastic. The 53-year-old, who has performed with the iconic ’60s and ’70s band surfer band since the 1980s, was rocking out on stage at the NYCB Theatre in Westbury, New York, when, perhaps, he noticed a slight breeze on his rear end.

The moment Stamos turns around and notices he’s split his pants straight down the middle is captured on camera, and we have to say he plays it pretty cool. He even turns his backside to the audience, who may or may not have noticed the rather large rip. Yikes!

Good thing he has a sense of humor! On his Instagram he wrote: “…and then, somewhere towards the end of Fun, Fun, Fun – I felt a slight breeze in the buttocks area…. #SplitPants #TheBeachBUNS #showmustgoon”

If Uncle Jesse’s very real musical talent comes as a surprise to you, it shouldn’t! Stamos played the drums for the California band as early as 1985. He even appeared in the band’s “Kokomo” music video in 1988! In 1994, he released his own album, called Shades of Blue, which is now available on iTunes. In addition to The Beach Boys, he’s also performed with John Fogerty. Who knew?

While Stamos doesn’t have any acting credits to his name in 2017, 2016 was a busy year for him. The Full House reboot, Fuller House, premiered on Netflix, and he also appeared in a lead role in Fox’s Scream Queens. We’ll let him relax and just have fun with his music! But maybe next time he should bring an extra pair of pants.
