How to Tone Your Arms at Home

First, we think it’s important to recognize that our bodies are constantly changing and it’s OK if they aren’t as toned as they once were. If you do want to make some small changes to your daily routine to help strengthen your arms, then you’ve come to the right place. We’ve found some simple hints and tricks to get rid of bat wings.

Bat wings are basically loose skin on the upper part of arms and although these are perfectly natural, there are lots of things you can do to transform them. Follow our step-by-step guide on how to get rid of bat wings and wave goodbye to excess skin.

Drink More Water

Before starting any type of exercise, you must keep yourself hydrated, so make sure that you’re drinking plenty of water throughout the day. It’s also essential that you drink water during any exercise you do.

Grab Some Equipment

We’ve all heard that fitness hack of grabbing a can of baked beans from the back of your cupboard, right? Food cans can make a fantastic alternative for a pair of weights, yet hardly any of us have headed to the kitchen to workout. We say go grab two tins now and give it a go!

Below these tips, we’ve rounded up some of the best exercise equipment to help tone your arms.

Give a Bicep Curl a Go

Once you’ve invested in some equipment (or grabbed two tin cans), then you’re ready to try a bicep curl. Hold a weight in each hand (alternating between arms), lift the weight from a 90-degree angle up to your shoulder and then back down again.

Try Some Pushups

You’ll need plenty of room for this one, so if it’s a nice day head out into your garden and try to do a push-up. The easiest way to try this is to kneel on a mat using your hands to support you. Make sure to keep your back as straight as possible and tuck in your behind. You will then need to lower your body down to your elbows and then raise yourself up again slowly.

Build It Up

We don’t expect you to perfect it the first time and do lots of exercising. It’s essential that you build this up over time so that you do not overwork your body. Start your first day with one or two push-ups or bicep curls then gradually do a few more over the coming days and weeks. Remember to always listen to your body.

Remember to Rest

This is the most important step! It’s vital that you make sure to rest during and after any exercise.

Now that you’re ready to follow our step-by-step guide, we’ve pulled together some of the best equipment to help you get rid of bingo wings. You can expect everything from water bottles to dumbbells to help make sure exercising is as easy as possible.
