It seems like bras were designed to make us uncomfortable; nevertheless, they’re a necessity. Finding one that fits perfectly — and that doesn’t look like it came straight out of a cartoon — is a rare occurrence, however. But, there’s something that may help: According to Twitter user @MsPackyetti, aka Brittany Packnett, we’ve been putting our bras on the wrong way our entire lives.
So, here’s the deal. On October 12, Packnett dropped some serious, need-to-know knowledge with the following tweet:https://twitter.com/MsPackyetti/status/918570479849496578?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw

“Most women are wearing a band that’s too large for them and are wearing their band on the tightest hook to overcompensate for the extra room. But if you wear a brand-new bra on any other hook than the loosest, you’re probably in too big of a band size,” Ra’el Cohen, head of design at ThirdLove, told TODAY Style.
Per ThirdLove’s instructions, the first rule to putting on a bra is to wear it on the loosest hook, so you’ll have the flexibility to tighten it over time. Gather your breasts into each cup as you pull back on the wire. Then, tighten the straps every other month to ensure they’re snug and supportive.
