Gwen Stefani Doesn’t Look Like This Anymore

Tags:

Between her flawless skin and gorgeous fashion, Gwen Stefani’s hair doesn’t get nearly as much attention as it might deserve. After all, her beautiful platinum blonde locks are just as much a part of her signature look as her bright red lips.

However, after Gwen Stefani’s hair recently got a major makeover, her tresses being overlooked may very well be a thing of the past. No, she didn’t get her hair dyed. And no, she didn’t get a major haircut—though we have to admit that celebrities with short hair have been inspiring us a lot lately.

But what Gwen Stefani did to her hair is a bold move for any celeb to make—especially many years into a public career—because it’s such a dramatic change. When we first saw the photo of her with this new ‘do, we admit it took us a few seconds to recognize her in this look.

After the shock wore off though, we were seriously impressed with the hairstyle. And we can confidently say she rocks it. So what’s it?

Yes, really. Gwen Stefani took the plunge with her hairstylist, Danilo Dixon, and went for bangs. Dixon said she was “channeling Suzanne [Somers].” Edgy! We’re not sure how long it’ll be sticking around. But we totally approve of it, and as always, we’ll be admiring from afar as long as it’s here to stay.

You look beautiful, Gwen!
