Before going to the grocery store, you probably jot down the few things you need on a piece of paper, or a napkin if that’s closer, only to get there and realize you’ve left the list on the counter. When you try calling your husband to see if he can read the list out to you, he says he can’t find it. Then, after taking a deep breath, you ask, “Well, can you at least tell me what’s in the fridge/pantry?” to which he responds “I don’t know,” even though he is home and perfectly capable of looking in both of those places himself.

Instead of playing a guessing game every time you go to the grocery store, try “Bring! Grocery Shopping List,” a mobile app that allows you to create as many grocery lists as your heart desires. The cool part? You can share your list with your kids and your husband. So whenever you hear, “Mom! We’re out of….” you can just tell them to add it to the list.

How does ‘Bring! Grocery Shopping List’ work?

The app is available for both Apple and Android users and it’s super simple to use. Just download the app, open it up, and start creating your list. If you want to make a specific list, Bring! Grocery Shopping List allows users to name their lists, so you’ll know the difference between your “Church Bake Sale” list and what you’ll need for “Tuesday Night Dinner.”

Adding items to your list is easy. Bring! gives users two basic choices — you can either search for specific ingredients and add them that way, or you can scroll through a list of categories, (i.e. fruits and vegetables, dairy, etc.). Once your item is added to the list a small photo of the item will appear as well. If you added milk to your list, for example, a small milk carton will appear above the word “milk.”

Once you’re done creating your lists, you can easily share them with your family (in case you’re planning a potluck dinner party for your group). All you have to do is type in their email address and Bring! will send a message inviting said person to the app and then they’ll have your list on their phone, too! Which means your kids and your husband will be able to edit the list whenever they need — making your grocery haul a lot easier.
