My New Favorite Jeans Are Only $23 at Walmart

Finding jeans that flatter my figure isn’t the easiest task, so I don’t mind splurging if I find a pair that fit well. But usually, If they work for my thighs, they’re too large at the waist; if they sit snugly on my hips, they’re made for someone with supermodel-length legs. But when I shimmied into a pair from Sofía Vergara’s collection at Walmart, I immediately breathed a sigh of relief.

The Sofía Skinny Mid Rise Soft Stretch Ankle Jean ($22.50, Walmart) are made of a soft, stretchy material rather than stiff, unbreathable denim. Their mid-rise style sits high enough on my waist that the silhouette slims and lengthens my legs, but the cut isn’t so high that it pokes into my rib cage every time I sit down. I like to joke that my butt is so flat that sometimes it’s concave, but these jeans manage to make what assets I do have look perky. Oh, and did I mention that they are only $23 — an absolute steal!

One thing to note is that these jeans have a raw hem, meaning the ends will fray over time and with multiple washes. I happen to like that casual look, but it may not be for everyone.

Vergara’s collection with Walmart does not just feature denim, but is full of summery tops, flowy dresses and causal tees, in sizes from 0 to 20. Even better, everything is under $40, meaning you can look fab this spring summer, even on a budget.

But back to my new go-to jeans: I love them so much, I actually have to stop myself from wearing them too often. In fact, I’ve practically retired some of my more expensive pairs in favor of these. So while I may not have Sofía Vergara’s enviable figure, these jeans make me feel pretty close.
