If there’s one thing we can’t live without come fall (besides our favorite seasonal foods and pumpkin-spiced lattes, that is!) it’s a great lightweight transitional coat. Not only have we already found our favorite pick of the season in Bernardo’s gorgeous double-face car coat ($129.90, Nordstrom), we found it at 33 percent off!
Normally $180, this cool-weather treat of a jacket comes straight from the stylish streets of Montreal, Canada. It features a trendy and tailored oversized fit, a notched collar, and front welt pockets that lend an air of sophistication, recalling vintage-vixens of yester-year such as Audrey Hepburn and Lauren Bacall. Made from a cozy poly-blend, it’s available in both a soft autumnal apricot and a bold hunter green, both of which have a delicate sheen.
Nordstrom customers are loving this coat, with one calling it a, “a great value. So unusual, no one has this in their closet already!” the buyer wrote. “Anticipating lots of compliments this fall!”
Added another, “I literally can’t wait to wear it. It’s very soft, [a] beautiful color and good for Cali Winters / Midwest falls-early winter. It fits a bit oversized, so it can be layered and I’ve tried it on with jeans and dresses and looks good for all kinds of occasions.”
With a great look that can easily be slipped over a turtleneck or a chunky sweater, a top-notch functional design, and just the right amount of weight to suit the changing seasons, this coat (almost!) has us welcoming fall’s chilly nights with open arms. Almost…
