When His Wife Wouldn’t Say a Word to Him After Work, This Husband Came to a Shocking Realization

Philip Urtz watched his wife Jessica come home from work, sit down at the table, and start eating her dinner in silence. And he was fine with it. He was so fine with it, in fact, that he snapped a photo of her in her quiet moment right then and there, with nothing but adoration in his eyes.

That’s because he knows what that quiet moment means.

In a viral Facebook post, Philip revealed that Jessica is a stroke nurse. Because of her profession, he wrote that she works with people who are having “the worst days of their lives.” She works through lunch and rarely has time to sit during her shift.

“She comes home after 14 hours, takes off her shoes that have walked through blood and tears, and just wants to sit down,” Philip wrote. “I don’t ask her about her day because she doesn’t like to talk about work when she is home and that’s fine.”

Philip wrote on the days she does want to talk, he’ll listen. But every day is different.

“Sometimes she comes home happy and sometimes she comes home sad,” he said. “But no matter how she feels, she is always on time for her next shift.”

Though it takes a lot of time away from her spouse for her to work that hard and be that selfless, Philip has nothing but the kindest words to say about her dedication.

“I love her with all my heart,” he wrote. “My wife is my hero. My wife is a Stroke Nurse.”

How beautiful!
