Trisha Yearwood Dressed Up As Husband Garth Brooks for Halloween


If you think your Halloween costume is good, prepare to be upstaged by Trisha Yearwood. The beloved country star dressed up as none other than her own husband, fellow country singer Garth Brooks, for this year’s celebration — and she absolutely nailed the look.

Of course, Trisha Yearwood and Garth Brooks have both rocked many iconic country styles together as a couple over the years — but they also showed off some astounding getups long before they got hitched in 2005. One notable example is Garth Brooks’s look on the cover of his 1992 album The Chase. What country fan could ever forget the distinctive black and white color-block outfit that only he could pull off, coupled with a matching background?

Well, Trisha certainly couldn’t, so she used that specific outfit from her hubby as inspiration for her Halloween costume this year. Though she wore the costume for a recent episode of her Food Network show, Trisha’s Southern Kitchen, the host surprised her followers on Instagram with a sneak peak beforehand of what to expect. The star hilariously captioned the snap, “This is not a #TBT! This is Saturday’s episode of #TrishasKitchen! Do I make a good Garth?”
