Oprah Launched a Line of Cauliflower-Crust Pizzas, And Meal-Planning Just Got So Much Easier

Dieters who love your carbs: We have good news. Oprah just announced that she’s expanding O, That’s Good! — her line of pre-made refrigerated soups and side-dishes made in collaboration with Kraft Heinz — to include a nutritious twist on one of our sinful favorites: pizza.

The pizzas will come in four delicious-sounding varieties: Five Cheese, Uncured Pepperoni, Supreme, and Fire Roasted Veggie. Each pie is 11 inches in diameter, and serves five people at 280 to 330 calories and three to five grams of saturated fat per serving. The healthiest twist of all? A third of every pizza crust will be made with cauliflower.

Oprah, who has long been invested in the health and wellness industry, has been very public about her own health and battles she’s faced with weight-management.

“Pizza is a favorite, fun, and easy food to share with family and friends,” Oprah said in a press release. “I am always looking to add a nutritious twist to my foods, so we made part of the crust in my new pizza with cauliflower while maintaining that classic, cheesy pizza flavor you and your family love.”

Oprah first launched O, That’s Good! in the summer of 2017 as a way to pair the convenience of frozen foods with options that are nutritious and veggie-heavy. Refrigerated side dishes included classic favorites infused with added vegetables, such as Garlic Mashed Potatoes (made with both potatoes and mashed cauliflower); Creamy Tomato Basil Soup (made with celery and carrots), and Creamy Butternut Squash Soup (made with pureed carrots and sweet potatoes).

“In the American food culture, we’re at a stage now where health and wellness is merging with culinary aspirations,” Oprah said. “There’s a seismic shift in terms of what was acceptable in the 80s, 90s, and even the 2000s. Yes, you should eat vegetables, but it was ‘grin and bear it.'”

Well, thanks to O, That’s Good!, we don’t have to grin and bear it any longer; we can have our healthy pizza, and eat it too. Look for Oprah’s new pizzas — and the entire line of O, That’s Good! products — in grocery stores everywhere, available now.
