Mom Catches Teenagers Taking Selfies in T.J.Maxx, Flawlessly Sums Up How We All Feel

Seeing kids holding a photo session to capture the perfect Facebook picture or selfie is a bit like the proverbial train wreck: you just can’t look away. The faces, the hand gestures, the noises, and–in some cases–the strange places they choose as their background can seen downright foreign.

Susannah B. Lewis knows the feeling all too well; while out running errands one week, she stumbled on a group of teenagers doing exactly that in what can only be described as an unexpected choice of venues. Baffled by their behavior, she thought the problem was fitting the entire group of friends into one photo, but when she approached the group and offered to snap a picture of all of them together, she was met with an even more confusing response.

Armed with a great sense of humor, Lewis finished her errand and returned to her car, where she filmed a quick response that perfectly captures how we all feel about the selfie movement. Spoiler alert: she nails an impression that just might remind you of your own kids. Watch the video response below.
