Miranda Lambert Makes a Dig at Blake Shelton During Live Performance
It’s been a little more than two years since Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton got divorced, but she’s not done taking digs at her ex-husband! The country music star recently kicked off her Livin’ Like Hippies tour, and of course, she’s including some fan-favorite hits in her set list — even her song “Little Red Wagon,” which references the years she spent married to Blake. During a recent concert, she made an impromptu update to the single’s lyrics.
In footage shot by a fan from the Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, South Carolina, last week, Miranda served up the song with an extra side of sass. The original lyrics are: “Oh, you only love me for my big sunglasses / And my Tony Lomas / I live in Oklahoma,” but in the live version, Miranda changed the “I live in Oklahoma” line to “I got the hell out of Oklahoma.”

Miranda is originally from Texas, but she moved to Blake’s home state of Oklahoma when they tied the knot in 2011. She has since moved to Nashville, Tennessee, after their split in 2015. It seems that moving was a good idea because her ex-husband has remained in Oklahoma where he has been spotted around town with his new girlfriend, Gwen Stefani. Gwen Stefani.
Although she took a dig at Blake, Miranda has moved on and is in a happy new relationship with her boyfriend, fellow musician Anderson East. It seems as though Miranda relied on her music to help her get over all of the pain and heartbreak that she went through during her divorce. This past summer, she revealed that a lot of the songs on her 2016 album The Weight of These Wings were about the demise of her marriage.
“If you want to hear my side of the story or my opinion of what happened, it’s all on there,” she told Billboard. “There’s no mystery anymore — take from it what you will.”
