Lady Louise Windsor, Prince William’s Youngest Girl Cousin,Then and Now


Louise Windsor the only daughter of the Queen’s youngest son, Prince Edward. She had a very dramatic birth. Her mother had to be rushed to the hospital when the lining of the placenta detached from the uterus, a pretty serious pregnancy complication. As a result, she delivered her only daughter via an emergency c-section. The little girl was premature, and her eyesight was quite bad for a while.

But during the 2011 royal wedding she was in fine form–and had a wonderful time as one of the flower girls. She got to ride in the carriage with her older cousin, Prince Harry. And since he’s such a jokester, we’re sure she had a great time.
