Kelly Clarkson might not have been the winning coach in The Voice finale this week, but she’s clearly the reigning champ when it comes to her skincare routine. Fans are fawning over the flawless makeup-free face the country singer has showed off while she’s been filming in quarantine without a crew to help her get all dolled up. Obviously, we had to do some digging to figure out the secret behind her gorgeous glow.
The former Proactiv spokeswoman still relies on the brand’s Renewing Cleanser ($25, Ulta) and Revitalizing Toner ($25, Ulta) to keep her skin fresh and clear, according to Feeling the Vibe. The magazine also says Clarkson uses sheet masks from Korean beauty company Peach & Lily to firm, brighten, and prep her face before putting on makeup for big events (remember those?).
As you can see in the pic from one of her broadcasts below, it’s all clearly working great for Clarkson!
You can grab a set of three masks on Peach & Lily’s website for just $15. The company also offer plenty of other items to help tame your skin, like their Glass Skin Discovery Kit ($39, Ulta). A promising review from Business Insider describes the company’s products as “worthwhile if you’re looking for gentle, effective everyday products that will work on a variety of skin types.” They’re also cruelty-free and don’t add any synthetic fragrances.
Of course, Clarkson isn’t the first coach on The Voice to make headlines for ditching makeup. Alicia Keys previously impressed audiences with her commitment to going without so much as a drop of concealer — and that was long before a pandemic had anything to do with it! (Psst: You can click here to see all of the products Keys uses to keep her face fresh, too.)
The singing competition may be over now, but you can still get a good look at Clarkson showing off her lovely makeup-free face on her talk show, the Kelly Clarkson Show. Check it out the video below with her stunning cover of the Supremes’ “Where Did Our Love Go?”:
Makeup or no, Clarkson’s beauty and talent always shine so bright!
