With the royal wedding right around the corner, we can’t help but soak up every little detail. The latest news? Grace van Cutsem’s younger cousin and Harry’s goddaughter, Florence van Cutsem, is set to be a bridesmaid at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding.
Who is Grace van Cutsem?
You do remember the seemingly grumpy Grace van Cutsem, don’t you? (Honestly, we don’t know who could forget her!) She was the three-year-old diva (not to mention, Prince William’s goddaughter) who covered her ears while the royal party waved from the balcony. See the adorable moment Grace decided the hype around Kate Middleton and Prince William’s wedding was just too much to handle in the video below.
Today, Grace isn’t so little anymore: She’s a whopping 10 years old and ready to take on the world via her mother Rose Astor van Cutsem’s Instagram account. Here she is pretending to hold the moon alongside her two younger brothers.
Everything We Know About Meghan Markle’s Bridesmaids
Florence van Cutsem is the daughter of Alice van Cutsem and Major Nicholas van Cutsem (aka Grace’s aunt and uncle). Alice and Nicholas are close friends with both Prince Harry and Prince William. The four met through Prince Charles via his relationship with Nicholas’ father, the late Hugh van Cutsem Sr.
Kensington Palace released Meghan and Harry’s list of chosen bridesmaids and page boys on May 16, 2018. Meghan’s bridesmaids include: Her Royal Highness Princess Charlotte of Cambridge, 3; Miss Florence van Cutsem, 3; Meghan’s goddaughters Miss Remi Litt, 6, and Miss Rylan Litt, 7; Miss Ivy Mulroney, 4; and Prince Harry’s goddaugher, Miss Zalie Warren, 2.
