‘Frasier’ Cast Then and Now

The cast of ‘Frasier’ has changed so much since their popular TV show’s heyday. While we know it as one of our favorite 90s sitcoms, Frasier actually ran from 1993 to 2004 and was a spin-off of another hit 90s show, Cheers. It’s been in our hearts ever since!

Frasier followed the life of Dr. Frasier Crane, a successful Boston therapist, who moves to Seattle to get a new start on life. Dr. Crane, played by Kelsey Grammer, had his own radio talk show on which he shared his wit and wisdom with others, but at times he struggled with his own problems in life and in love. His salt-of-the-earth father (played by actor John Mahoney), his pretentious brother Niles (played by David Hyde Pierce), his live-in housekeeper Daphne (actress Jane Leeves), and his coworker Roz (Peri Gilpin) were among the many beloved Frasier cast members we’ll never forget.

While many on the cast of Frasier are still acting, they’ve obviously aged a lot since their days on the show. Some actors have changed dramatically, yet others look exactly the same as they did back then. Sadly, John Mahoney passed away while in hospice care for an undisclosed illness in 2018.
