“I can’t wait any longer!!” she wrote in an Instagram post. And it seems that her followers can’t wait, either. The comments are flooding in from fans and celebrities alike!

Details on the New Carrie Underwood Album

Denim and Rhinestones will be available on June 10, starting at midnight EST. As iHeart Country notes, this will be her first project since she debuted the single Ghost Story — a haunting, upbeat tune and “really powerful revenge song,” as she claims. (It’s a hairbrush-as-mic song for sure.)

Underwood is calling the album a “sing into your hairbrush, in your house, in your room kind of album,” per Go Country 105.

We have to admit: In regards to all of Underwood’s music, we’ve been doing this anyway for the last decade! Still, a new album is just what we need for our morning drive, mini dance sessions, and everything in between.

Fans and Celebrities Reacting to the News

Underwood’s loyal and ardent fan base appeared ecstatic in every joyful, party-emoji tweet.

“So excited for you. You are such a role model for young women. You are so talented. I’ve been a fan of yours since you were on American Idol!!” one user wrote on Twitter.

“So excited to hear this!! Great news, Carrie!” another user tweeted. Yet another happy reaction: “Can’t wait! just wish it was out in May instead of June.”

Over on Instagram, the reactions were just as upbeat.

Capitol Records Nashville (Underwood’s record label) commented a string of emojis: “🥳🥳💜💎”. And digital creator Jeff Johnson added, “🙌🏼 Let’s gooooo!!!!”

“I hope this means a tour!” a hopeful fan wrote. We really hope so, too — as long as she gets some well-deserved time off in there as well!

Until this album comes out, we’ll be biting our nails in anticipation and listening to Ghost Story on repeat.
