There’s a Sweet Reason Everyone Thinks This Guy Is a Dream Husband

Women have it hard, that’s for sure. You don’t have to dig far to find the stats about married women pulling double shifts–one at the workplace, the other at home. Add in a child or three (no matter how old they are) and women have an unbelievable workload, even though the kids are so worth it.

So when husbands go above and beyond (even if it’s just a little bit) they get a fair share of well-deserved glory. Which may be why this photo is getting all the feels from moms, young and old. The photo appeared on Reddit recently, and the poster (who calls himself avid climber) wrote an encouraging message to parents everywhere.

“After winning a battle with testicular cancer last year, we finally got our firstborn son,” he wrote. “Real men take care of their baby while mommy takes as many naps as she needs. She’s been through an ordeal!”

It’s true, he’s the one who called himself a dream husband–something that didn’t sit well with some of the people posting comments. But many, many others agreed with him.

If you’re wondering why the baby’s cheeks are so red, the little boy has very dry skin (and, yes, the parents are taking care of it).
