Four Dog Food Products Recalled Due to Salmonella Risk for Pets and Owners

Tags:

Heads up, dog owners: Over the course of just five days, products from four different popular dog-food brands have been recalled nationwide because they are potentially contaminated with Salmonella. It’s crucial to note that all recalled products pose a risk not just to the animals who eat the food, but also to the humans who handle and serve the food.

As we all know, Salmonella is nothing to mess around with: Salmonella bacteria can cause diarrhea, fever, and abdominal cramps for both humans and dogs, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, so if you have a pup at home, check your pet food to make sure it doesn’t include any of the recalled products below.
