Mom Mistakes a Dead Fly for Her Fake Eyelashes, Tries to Glue It On

Oh my gosh, no. Just no. When we heard what happened to the mom of Molly Robbins, we couldn’t help but laugh, cry, and nearly throw up all at once. Trust us on this: You’re going to feel exactly the same way.

Apparently, Molly’s dear mother was trying to put on false eyelashes at home. You know, those tiny fake lashes that you can buy in the drugstore cosmetics aisle? Well, as Molly revealed in a hilarious photo posted to her Twitter account, her mom had mistakenly picked up not a lash, but a dead fly — and yup, she was trying to glue the darn thing to her eyelid.

Oh no, this poor woman! I mean, we can see how she messed this one up; both are dark in color, both are a little… hairy (ew!). But the real thing to be thankful for here is that she couldn’t get the “lash” to attach to her eye. After all, imagine if she was successful!?

…whom we can’t help but applaud and thank for sharing this, um, special moment with the rest of us via social media. Nicely done!

Now if anyone needs us, we’ll be over here never buying fake eyelashes again.
