This Simple Hack Will Make Your Perfume Last Longer

Your partner knows just when you walk into the room because they can smell the sweet scent of your favorite perfume from 10 feet away. The only thing is, the aroma doesn’t always last as long as you’d like it too — but it can with this trick to make your perfume last longer.

So we found a perfume hack that can help you smell heavenly for even longer — using vaseline!

Here’s how it works: Before you spritz on your favorite perfume, rub a little bit of vaseline onto your skin where you’re going to spray it. Pulse points on the wrists, along your collarbone, and behind the ears are good spots to target. Make sure to rub the vaseline into your skin for a few seconds so that there’s no sticky residue, then just spray your perfume as you normally would.

Vaseline is a moisturizing agent that will lock moisture in at the surface of your skin. When you spray your perfume onto it, the vaseline will absorb it, and the scent will last much longer than if it was going directly onto your skin!
