Emily Boyette attended North Carolina State University, where she recognized her passion for writing after creating a food column for her school newspaper, The Technician. She then went on to work as a line cook in restaurants before venturing into food media upon moving to New York City. She has worked for brands including Food Network,, Allrecipes, Savory Online, Tasting Table, and Eat This Not That, and for more than two years, she’s been associate food editor for Woman’s World, First for Women, and Celebrate magazines.
