Justine McCabe's world seemed to be falling apart. Not long after she lost her beloved mother, her husband took his own life.
For three months, the young mother seemed to be going into a downward spiral. She was depressed, not moving around much, and was eating junk food to cope with her fears. And on top of that, she weighed 313 pounds.
So her family gently suggested exercise to her--to give her a sense of accomplishment each day and also to better her overall health. Justine agreed, and decided to take things a step further with her exercise mission. She would take a photo of herself every single day to document her progress.
365 days later, she lost an incredible 124 pounds.
Of her experience, she said, “I knew if I could survive living without my husband and mom, then I should push my boundaries and limits to face all fears I had, to live a life they would be proud of.”
