Responders Costume
This cop went viral on Love What Matters after a Cedar Rapids mom posted a photo of him in a silly costume while directing traffic. "My little girls look forward to seeing you everyday to see what outfit/costume you have on!" Renee Nicole Nunemaker wrote in the post. "I could just take the interstate to get there, but I always make sure to take that same road everyday, just so we can see you and help put a smile on their faces. It's people like you that help make a difference in a child's life, even if it's just for those short few seconds." -

Cop Delivers Baby
This cop pulled a couple over for speeding--and then discovered the wife was in labor! He delivered the baby, called an ambulance, escorted them to the hospital, then visited later bearing flowers and cupcakes. -
Firefighters Help Kid Make Friends
Firefighters spotted 6-year-old Cobie Saiz, who'd just moved to the neighborhood, outside in his firefighter uniform. They invited him into the truck, let him play with the gear--and helped Cobie make new friends! -
Firefighter Reads to Kid
