Indulge in Dessert Whenever You Want With This Healthier Smoothie Bowl Alternative

Tags:

Smoothie bowls have become a trendy health food online, and we can totally see why. They’re delicious, good for you, and (most importantly, of course!) beautiful to look at. Filled with protein and fruit, smoothie bowls are ideal for a quick breakfast or lunch. Plus, they’re super easy for women who are constantly on-the-go: Just pour your smoothie in a tumbler and you’re good to snack while you pick the kids up from school or head to your next barre class. Not to mention the best part: Eating a smoothie bowl is almost like indulging in dessert whenever you want, without all the added sugar and trans fat. It’s like a faux “cheat” meal, but better (and prettier!).

In addition to being super Instagram-worthy, this Berry Cashew Smoothie Bowl created by Justin’s is packed with potassium, antioxidants (thanks to the strawberries and raspberries) and protein. But what makes this smoothie bowl unique is the rich and creamy taste of Justin’s Maple Cashew Butter, which adds a nice texture and an even better taste. Don’t want to overdo it on cashews? No problem. Another great perk to making smoothie bowls is that they’re completely customizable. So load up on the berries, granola, or even slivers of dark chocolate ā€” whatever you like.

Ingredients

  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1/4 cup frozen raspberries
  • 1/2 cup frozen strawberries
  • 1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
  • 1 Tbsp. Justin’s Maple Cashew Butter
  • Toppings: Cashew butter, cashews, berries granola, etc.

Instructions

1. In a blender, combine all smoothie ingredients and blend until smooth and creamy.

2. Pour into a bowl and add desired toppings.
