Vanity Fair’s Huge Photoshop Fail in Hollywood Issue

Vanity Fair’s annual Hollywood issue always makes headlines, but this year it has gained attention for the wrong reason — a number of rather large photoshop fails. Shot by Annie Liebowitz, the cover over the 24th annual Hollywood issue stars Oprah Winfrey, Reese Witherspoon, Nicole Kidman, Jessica Chastain, Zendaya, and Claire Foy.

Although we were all relieved to see that James Franco had been digitally removed from the prestigious cover in the wake of his sexual misconduct allegations, it seems the editors were rather distracted by this editing work and made a few other mistakes.

Twitter users were quick to point out that some of the celebrities had acquired some additional limbs. Reese Witherspoon appeared to have gained a third legs and Oprah Winfrey had three hands.

Luckily, both stars took the mistake light-heartedly.

Vanity Fair was quick to respond to their mistake. ‘While we would have loved the exclusive on @RWitherspoon’s three legs, unfortunately it’s just the lining of her dress,’ the publication tweeted.

“As for @Oprah, how can we expect her to juggle it all with just two hands? (We are correcting this error online.)”
