Kate Middleton’s Brother is Obsessed with Dogs — And, We’re Obsessed With Him

Tags:

Pippa Middleton was thrust into the spotlight at her older sister’s (the future queen’s!) wedding in 2011. We’ve since seen her become an author, get married, and have a baby, but there is another lesser-known Middleton out there who is worth keeping an eye on — and he comes with a plethora of gorgeous pups in tow.

Happy birthday Inka and Luna

James Middleton, Kate and Pippa’s 32-year-old younger brother, is a proud dog owner and breeder who’s Instagram is full of photos of his five gorgeous fur babies — Ella, Zula, Inka, Luna, and Mabel — and all the other doggies he takes care of along the way. (He also owns a personalized marshmallow business, but that is fodder for another day.)

If you’re a dog lover (or have a pulse), you won’t be able to stop scrolling through the pics of this puppy crew. And James, traipsing around England and the Scottish countryside with his sun-kissed beard and gap-tooth smile, is not too shabby to look at either.

The ever growing 🐾 pack

While his sisters may have human children, James is obviously all about being a dog dad. This past Father’s Day he even gave a shout out to his #dogdad brethren with a photo of his adorable canine brood. But this is not to say that James hasn’t taken to being an uncle to his nieces and nephews, George, Charlotte, Louie, and Pippa’s son, Arthur — and a cool uncle at that. “I want to be the best uncle possible, like any uncle wants to be, ” James told Good Morning America. “I want to be the cool uncle, the fun uncle.”

He clearly knows how to have fun with the kiddos and the pups, but in a sad turn of events, one of his and the dog’s favorite activities was just cut short. Earlier this month, he posted that the bike he carts his pups around in (yes, all five of them at once!) was stolen. “Ella & Co are devastated – taking the dogs out on the bike brings me so much joy and to all those we meet on the way,” he posted. We can only imagine how excited we’d be seeing James and his doggies ride by!

But being the good guy that we feel like he must be, James turned the bad experience into a positive. He added that if the post gets 15k or more likes, he will donate to an organization that looks after abandoned dogs and cats. We’re happy to report: the post has gotten 31k likes and counting!

Hopefully, with all the eyes on his Insta, they’ll soon find the stolen bike and the locals will be able to see James and his dog family cruising through town once again. We’ll just have to settle with fawning over his Instagram page.
