So that means many people that don’t have vintage vinyl on hand are more eager than ever to start collecting it. “The antiques market seems often heavily influenced by nostalgia and therefore whomever has the buying power at any given time directs the value of collectible items,” John Neiheisel, an art and antique specialist said. So in other words, if you have an original vintage vinyl record that’s in high demand right now, be prepared that you just might hit the jackpot.
