Sisters Find Out Their Baby Sibling’s Gender By Eating Cupcakes, But It’s the Littlest Girl’s Reaction That’s Making This Video Go Viral
Gender reveals are so much fun, especially when the parents-to-be get clever about the way they share the big news.
Heidi Guerard and her husband, Shaun, decided to go the cupcake route to tell their daughters, Giuliana and Grace, whether they were going to get a baby brother or sister. As the video opens, the two little girls are sitting in front of the little cakes, while off-camera, their mom tells them what to expect: If the cream filling inside is blue, their sib-to-be is a boy; if it’s pink, a girl. “Ready?” Guerard asks. “Break it open!” As Guiliana sets to, little Grace starts to look doubtful. “I don’t want to break mine open,” she says mournfully.
Look at the skeptical glance she gives her jubilant older sis when Guilana tears into the cupcake. It’s all downhill from there. And yes, while Grace’s reaction is a bit extreme, we think it’s just ’cause she really really likes the color pink. The tip-off: Those cute little rose-colored jammies.
The story does have a happy ending. The baby boy, now 6 months, old, is loved by everyone in the fam!
