Little Girl Gets into Glitter, Has Perfectly Logical Explanation

View gallery

There’s nothing like the sound of silence to strike fear into the hearts of parents everywhere. You know kids are up to no good if you can’t hear them or see them. And so when Josh and Jessica Pierce discovered what their adorable little girl was really doing behind the bathroom door, they just had to film it.

“I’ve got beautiful glitter on,” she says proudly as she opens the door. And boy does she ever! Everything sparkles in vivid neon blue–her face, her hair, her clothes, the floor. “What did we tell you,” her mom says sternly. But the little girl gives what can only be the most hilariously perfect reason for her crime. “Look,” she says. “It looks beautiful.”

Glitter, no matter how sparkly, is never beautiful if you’re a parent in the middle of raising little ones. So hats off to Jessica and Josh, who see the humor in their daughter’s attempts to make herself look like a princess. But every parent will be able to relate to Josh’s sigh when he enters the bathroom and sees for himself how hard he’ll have to scrub the floor to rid it of all those blue sparkles!
