Every Month Her Husband Takes Another Girl on a Date
Caitlin Fladager watched her husband get ready for his date with another woman, and she couldn’t help but smile.
Why was Fladager so thrilled she snapped a few photos of her husband and his guest? Because her hubby, Noah, was getting ready to take their daughter on the pair’s first father-daughter date!
“My husband decided once a month he will take our little girl out on a ‘date’ where she gets all dressed up and gets taken out for cake and ice cream,” she told her 300,000 Facebook fans. “He helped her pick out a dress for her to wear, got a little purse ready for her, held the door open for her, and made her feel like a princess.”
The two stopped to get cake at a local dessert shop, and we can’t stop drooling at that cheesecake!
“She loved it and was so happy when she got home,” said Caitlin. But the father-daughter date was more than just a bonding experience. “She will always know how she deserves to be treated because her dad sets such a high example.”
Some parents loved the post so much, they asked Caitlin if they could steal the idea, too. Others wrote about how much they valued the dates they went on with their own children.
One dad wrote: “These are the best things in the world. I did this with my girls and twenty four years later still go out to dinner once a month with my two daughters. Wouldn’t change it for the world.”
